Expert Group on the Lower Silesian Innovation Strategy 2030

The current rapid scientific and technological progress, as well as changing socio-political and economic conditions mean that for effective and efficient implementation of actions planned in the Lower Silesian Innovation Strategy 2030, as well as constant monitoring and responding to emerging needs and trends in the region's economy, constant co-operation of the Voivodeship Government with experts - stakeholders of the Lower Silesian innovation system and local governments - is essential. 

In view of the above, in September 2021 the Board of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship appointed an opinion and advisory body - the Expert Group on the Lower Silesian Innovation Strategy 2030 - which provides key support for regional authorities in the process of managing and implementing the innovation strategy in

Lower Silesia. The group consists of high-ranking experts - representatives of scientific and R&D units, the largest Lower Silesian businesses, local governments, business support institutions and non-governmental organisations.

The main tasks of this body are:

1. Consultation of activities related to the implementation of the Lower Silesian Innovation Strategy 2030.
2. To consult on the monitoring of programmes implemented in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship that stimulate the development of innovation and entrepreneurship.
3. To give an opinion on the voivodeship's innovation policy measures.
4. Interaction with the Working Group on Smart Specialisations.
5. Participation in the entrepreneurial discovery process on a consultative and consultative basis, including on the subject of Lower Silesian smart specialisations.
6. Advising on the identification and initiation of activities/projects implementing the LSIS 2030 objectives.
