Meeting with Moldovan clusters

The experience of Lower Silesian cluster policy was discussed during a visit by representatives of food, tourism and furniture clusters from two Moldovan regions - Cahul and Ugheni.

On 21 March, at the headquarters of the triQube at the Lower Silesian Agency for Economic Cooperation, as part of the EU4Moldova project, funded by the European Union and implemented in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), we discussed the barriers and advantages of supporting this type of cooperation network. The meeting was an opportunity to reflect on the potential of regional food co-operatives, also in the context of the Tastes of Lower Silesia project, presented by Ms. Arleta Bzdun of the Lower Silesian Tourist Organisation. All meeting participants agreed that there is potential for cooperation and exchange of experiences between Lower Silesian clusters and food co-operatives and the Moldovan regions participating in the EU4Moldova project.
