The Centre for Innovative Technologies (CIT), a modern research and development centre consisting of six specialist units located in and around Wrocław and equipped with state-of-the-art apparatus and operating in three areas: food, veterinary medicine and the environment, was officially opened at Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences. CIT is the largest investment in recent years at UPWr (Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences), which has cost nearly PLN 140 000 000, including PLN 70 000 000 from the European Regional Development Fund. The opening was attended by Mr. Cezary Przybylski, Marshall of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship.
