On 1-2 October, the international trade fair IoT Tech Expo 2024 took place in Amsterdam. Entrepreneurs from Lower Silesia operating in the new technologies sector took part in the economic mission, organised by the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Local Government as part of the EU project Going Global 4.0.
The following companies presented at the regional stand:
PROA TECHNOLOGY Sp. z o.o. - a company specialising in revolutionising back-office operations through advanced artificial intelligence algorithms. 4
RAITING CAPTAIN (Customer Satisfaction.AI Sp. z o.o.) - a company offering a suite of applications to streamline the process of collecting, analysing and displaying consumer product reviews on e-commerce sites and other review platforms, as well as improving local ranking on Google Maps.
STERMEDIA Sp. z o.o. - Stermedia's AndonCloud.com products deal with the performance of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for production managers, i.e. analysing downtime, reporting production efficiency and quality, and calculating OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
TSAFETY Sp. z o.o. - the company has developed an AI safety anti-collision system for industry. The system recognises people or vehicles (e.g. forklifts, trucks, etc.) and distinguishes them from other objects.
Unitem Software Sp. z o.o. - is an innovative company specialising in the optimisation of production processes through the use of advanced artificial intelligence technologies.
Control System Grzegorz Kobuszewski - 4 HELP VR - a company focusing on the use of VR technology in education and therapy. A team of specialists creates immersive experiences that significantly increase the effectiveness of training in the areas of safety, first aid, ecology, among others.
Univio S.A. - the company's products enable businesses to grow digitally through comprehensive e-commerce solutions, custom software development, data analytics and systems integration.
MIS Sp. z o.o. - an innovative company creating and delivering e-services to support companies' daily operations and decision-making process, using HCL Domino and QlikView/Qlik Sense technologies. The company also has extensive experience in conducting cyber security audits.
Sky Tronic Ltd. - The company's flagship product is a flight control and stabilisation system for multi-rotor UAVs. The system can be offered as software libraries or as a complete electronic device called SkyNav FLC.
Nanores Sp. z o.o. - a state-of-the-art nanotechnology laboratory specialising in materials research and the production and prototyping of micro- and nanocomponents. Equipped with 3 DualBeam SEM/FIB microscopes, a femtosecond laser station with 5-axis head and a metallography laboratory with optical and confocal microscopes, Nanores Lab supports its partners in providing them with breakthrough technologies.
The opportunity to participate in the IoT Tech Expo and a place at the Lower Silesia regional stand provided an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurs to present their latest products and technologies, discover new industry trends and facilitate business contacts. Representatives of the Lower Silesian delegation took part in seminars, lectures, demonstrations presenting the most spectacular projects in the IoT area, as well as a VIP Networking event which was organised for speakers, sponsors and exhibitors.
The event covered key topics for the evolving IoT landscape, including, among others
- digital twins: real world applications and the impact on IoT data visualisation,
- smart and sustainable cities,
- the IoT revolution in retail, utilities and infrastructure,
- machine learning models on Edge devices,
- from smart industry to the productive enterprise,
- the role of edge computing in IoT security,
- NATO Investment Fund: Driving the future of emerging IoT and edge computing,
- IoT applications in telecommunications.
The participation of Lower Silesian entrepreneurs in the economic mission at the IoT Tech Expo Amsterdam 2024 was possible thanks to the 'Going Global 4.0' project. The main objectives of the project are national and international economic promotion and internationalisation of Lower Silesian companies by creating opportunities to win new markets and new investors. The Going Global project effectively supports investment processes of Lower Silesian companies in the field of research and development, international promotion activities in the micro, small and medium-sized enterprise sector. It is co-financed from the Budget of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship and the European Funds for Lower Silesia for 2021-2027. Going Global 4.0 assumes the organisation of 28 foreign economic missions for approximately 300 Lower Silesian entrepreneurs.
